Saw this guy on the side of the house this evening. The knife is a G-10 SE Police. I used it for scale.

I believe that's what is known as a "stick bug"...it looks similar to one I found on my veranda earlier this year!

A Walking Stick! I haven't seen one of them for a long time. I used to find them when I was camping as a kid. Cool bugs

I've seen a few around here (MA) but I've never seen one that big. The Police is right next to the bug. It seemed to be a tiny bit longer than the blade.
