    Hey Roman,

No, not the macro lens for the last few. I've just been using my Nikkor 12-200 . I need to do more macro work....I know. I haven't done a review of a knife for a while (Last one was the Trance I believe....and I did promise a Lava review. stay tuned)

I have a few knives with tracking numbers on their way to me as we 'speak'. Will be shooting them as I get them, depending on how my schdule is before Xmas. Been very busy with fundraising and charity work over the last few weeks.

    Cheers bros

Thanks Brian.....see how nice that purple foliage is on that plant (Rhoeo family , forgotten the variation) A purpe G10 like that colour would be nice

Photos lately have been in my gardens which me, my wife and kids have been slowly doing up.

Magnolias, Rhoeo, Lavender, Mondo, Agapanthus, Phormium, and Cuphea have been the flavours of the month for me. And to boot, the Camellias and Azaleas are starting to flower. Will make great backdops for more photographic shenanigans

    Cheers

    Foxy ! Foxy Lady !

    Volpe

Fox Cutlery & Spyderco have come up with a very solidly manufactured blade. Interesting blade design, framelock, s/s handles with olivewood inlays, all screw contruction.

One of my favourite details is the laser cutout of the Spyderbug logo in the reverse side of the blade. Being a framelock, the cutout shows up the internals of the knife very nicely

    Beautiful pictures Dan. Thank you.
This knife is gorgeous. I love this wood inserts, FFG, very nit bug cutout on the clip side and laser etch on the blade. It would be great to have finger choil. Probably this is the only feature, which I am missing. Unbelievable fit & finish.

Thanks for your kinds words Starling & Roman

Yes Starling....I like the cutout very much. The minor but well executed details in this knife make it a very fine unit.

I think the Volpe would benefit (if it weren't disco'd ) from the addition of some fine jimping or a slightly elongated lock release or a bit more of a cutout where the release is located. Very slippery purchase on the lock for me which = dangerous. A forefinger choil deep into the blade would be very neat indeed Roman. The tolerances are very tight on this knife.

I would seriously encourage those who do not own this knife to at least go out and handle it. Aside from a few of my minor niggles listed above I think this is one very beautifully crafted piece of art
