    Cool Hobbies

I noticed lately that here in Spyderville we have a real interesting array of hobbies...

making beef jerky...knife throwing...snakes...insect pics...making lanyards...stamp collecting (nah! we're not that boring LOL! )...throwing slings...

    Never a dull moment!

There's also a few of us (well at least Daywalker and I) who collect toys.

Paintball! Come to think of it, I haven't played in a few years. I prefer playing in a large brush or other natural environment. These kids today with their tiny air filled pillows and little fields just don't do it for me, not enough dimensional risk. I guess that makes me old school.

Yah, we have guns, but we live in grass shacks on the beach, we wear grass skirts, we drink coconuts, and dance hula all day. -.-

Actually, the city and county of Honolulu is the 12th largest municipality in the US. Honolulu itself being the 47 largest city in the United States. Hawaii is also the most isolated population center on the face of the earth. Hawaii is 2,390 miles from California; 3,850 miles from Japan; 4,900 miles from China; and 5,280 miles from the Philippines.

    Also some fun facts:

Also, Hawaii is the only ~state~ that grows coffee.

1/3 of the worlds pineapples come from Hawaii.

The Hawaiian Islands are the the projecting tops of the largest mountain chain in the world.

Iolani Palace is the only royal palace in the United States.

Hawaii has the world's largest wind generator.

Hawaii also contains the largest contiguous ranch in the whole United States, the Parker Ranch.

From the east side to the west side, Hawaii is the widest state in the US.
