    Talking Subcom Soundoff!

Took possession of a Wharcom, Rescom, and two Subcoms (Desert, and Camo) today, and I was just thinking, quite a few people here have them, so my question is how many have them, and what varieties?

While I'm at it, which is your favourite, and why?

All of the above, plus a "molested" subcom folder, a custom "prototype" of the Subcom FB, a larger custom Wharncliffe FB designed by Chad, and an MPT. Not to mention two forum Lavas, and three regular Lavas.

Of the lot, my favorite is the molested subcom, but one of these day's I'll get Potterma to do me a Wharcom (if I can ever decide between birdseye maple, desert ironwood, an lignum vitae).

I don't have one yet but I would like one. I would like to get a Wharcom and a Subcom Fixed Blade.

I would have to take the plastic scale off and replace it with something else like some other folks have done. I have some yellow and black carbon fiber that is about 1/8" thick. I may try to get a Wharcom and pimp it myself.

P.S. - I voted in the poll before I saw that it said "you own". I voted for the ones I wanted to buy. Sorry for skewing the vote.

I used to have an original subcom, but I sold it. I don't get what the big deal is with ergonomics, but it sure does pack a lotta sharp in a small package.

Its a simple locking knife though, and that is what i really liked about it.

The black-handled wharcom is my favorite. I think the next one I'll get is the Subcom fixed-blade.

I Have the 1st Generation SubCom and the Rescom......both were sent to me by our Brother DAYWALKER. The Rescom is a constant companion while on duty and The SubCom is one of my EDC's. I have the Trance also and looking to make a Complete CLB Collection. I think the next CLB purchase will be the SubCom FB......Been After That One For A While . Take Good Care All and Be Safe.

Oh.........The 1st Gen Subcom is My Favorite........Because DAYWALKER gave it to me .

    God Bless

    Alright Will... I'll bite....
I voted for all except the 1st gen Subcom folder and Rescom....
I've got more than a few.... 1st Subcomfolder I bought (black FRN, PE, Aus8)) I liked so much I bought some more.... then I sent some to Potterma for some pimpage ..... .... Mike even reversed the pivot screws for ez adjustment from the clipside of the "Biscuit"...
My favorite Subcom is ... you guessed it ... the 1st one I bought...the "original" (2ndgen AUS-8) PE Subcomfolder with the Full Flat Ground leaf shaped blade....

    From L to R:

black carbon fiber, jigged buffalo horn, cocobolo, bocote, desert ironwood

Another desert ironwood scale, and the Trance...

    Thumbs up

I do have a few pieces myself, how else? And yes, there is a Forum Lava there as well.
