I think the keys to Wouter's great photography are attention to composition, lighting, post-production techniques/skill, and enjoyment in producing quality photos.

I've had the opportunity to see him in action photographing s, and one can observe his focus on producing just the right shots to really show off their attributes.

Hi Chris! Everything OK on your end? Say hi to your lovely wife.

On topic. I consider myself more of a mass-production knife photo guy. I prefer to get the cleanest shots possible with the most realistic colors -at least to me-. There are some real artists around these and other forums. Photoshop helps to sharpen, crop and generally give more 'zing' to a picture.

    Wouter,
Beautiful pictures as always. I love the color.
"Ladybug addiction" this is a good one, never heard before, but can easy understand. I have few, my wife carries one and found it to be very useful.
I gave away couple as well. One of my friends claiming that they fix entire house, using Ladybug for all knife needs.

    Wouter,
It's not like I did not enjoy your every post, but Manix II pictures are just perfect in every possible way!

    Peter,
Many thanks to you for providing Wouter with such a great inspiration

    G10 Poliwog

Next up in my series, is my hommage to Whynot!

I also noticed that after I was done, the wind would play with the Poliwog when it's on its spine, like a regular weather vane, check out this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Axk5YhgM_4

    hey Wouter,

Nice clip on youtube, just a little bit sharp to use as a windvane.
Not a real steady wind in your garden.

Mirror pics are easily amongst my faves, great shots mate!

I've really got to try that..................

I've had a new camera for 4 months and still haven't shot more than a handful of pics but then again my wee old Kodak is sooooooo great to use!

    Regards,

    BRIAN
