Country has them for $125, so I'd call that the realistic upper limit.

I would say Deacon is correct. As with many other Spydies the PE are harder to find and probably worth more. I have a serrated SS and truly wish I would've gone with the G-10 version when I had the chance.

Cool! Thanks, Paul! Do you know how many were made? How long were they made for, etc?

    Thanks again!

The only thing I can say for sure is - they appear in only one catalog, the small green-covered 98-99 one that got packed in knife boxes of that era. Based on that, I'd say they were not made for long, at least for the US market. Probably only a batch (1200) or two at the most. But that is pure speculation. They may have lasted longer, and sold better, in Japan - where they are know as the "M Police".

Awesome! Thanks so much, Deacon!! I really wish that Spyderco would do a sprint run of these little guys...maybe G10 (any color), a ZDP blade and a 4 way clip?

    Thanks again!!

The Rookie is not one of my favorites, but a sprint run in PE with a ZDP-189 blade and matte CF handles would probably sell quite well. Do it full flat ground, with a matching full sized Police and the dealers might have to hire security for crowd control.

The SEs are going up in price some. Most I have seen on ebay go for around 60-80.
The PEs are much more.I remember a couple years ago the SEs could be had all day for around 40 each.
