Hello fellow members!! Iīd like to share the new additions received past week:
I had never paid much attention to Delicas and Enduras in the past.
But, due to the latest posts made in this Forum, I got the idea of making a try, so I ordered a British Green Delica, ZDP steel, and when it arrived, I put it inmediately to use. That was love at first sight!! I took my old Delica black FRN from its long sleep, and compared both of them.
The new Delica 4 FRN Green/ZDP is a completely new great knife!

Handle is a bit longer, blade is a bit longer and different profile, also with jimping back of hole.
By the way: do you see the line separating the core steel from the lateral sandwich steel? I canīt see them in mine. Happens the same in all ZDP blades? I guess I saw the line in some pictures posted by other members in this Forum.

The new FRN handle is a higher quality type, or at least looks so. Also the new
Anti-slip pattern, is much better than the old volcano style.

I like the metal clip, better than the old plastic one. But I donīt really care about the Boye dent on the lock bar. Actually, I donīt like it very much. I seems that it cuts some of the movement of action.
I put the new inmediately in EDC status, together with my old stand by, a Calypso Jr micarta handle, and the current EDC, a Caly3, which is fighting hard to replace my old Calypso Jr.

I really like this British green Delica very much. So much that I have just ordered a new foliage green one, and matching Enduras. I also ordered a waved gray Delica! Will show them when they arrive.
The other aditions are:
Ocelot, nice cute knife. I really love Tim Wegner designs! Anyway this Ocelot goes to the do not touch minty collector section of my stable.

Last addition just arrived is a kriss. Nice and very well finished knife. Find one hand blade opening a bit difficult. May be the Spyder hole is too low and near blade axis to act as it should, or may be is my own hand. But not as easy to open as other conventional Spyders.
Anyway, this one goes to the collection department too.

Follows a picture of a group of Spyders from my collection. Just a welcome gathering to say hello to the new members of my Spyders nest.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!!
Very cordially from the South, Abel
