I got bored today, and had an old phone book lying around. Was going to throw it out with the trash when I decided to do a "real" cutting test with my PE Pacific Salt. It's a good cutter for sure. I managed to turn the phone book into 'bird cage liner' (shredded the whole thing into tiny pieces), and the blade showed no signs of dragging on the cuts. Nice clean cuts the whole time. It's not still shaving sharp, but a few minutes on my Spyderco Ultra Fine Bench Stone/Razor Hone will have it back to shaving I'm sure. I'm impressed as this was the first real cutting chore I've put this knife to.
