Any Interest In An H-1 Police?

I think H-1 is most logically combined with unlined FRN handes. Putting stainless handles on one seems to defeat the major advantage of H-1, as the knife would no longer be rustproof. Unlined G-10 has proven that it does not retain clip screws well. Titanium handles, or G-10 with ti liners, would raise the cost. Not sure what the target market for them would be.

Seriously though, I think The Deacon is correct. You really want to utilise H-1 in knives that can be made entirely rust-proof. Also, the designs of the current and up-coming H-1 knives are such that they cater to a market that can strongly benefit from H-1's corrosion resistance. A rust-proof Police, while novel, would not really fill much of a niche.

I don't think there is... Real question would be: Has anyone had a Police rust on them?

If I were able to modify an H1 knife, it would probably be to make the PS and S1 into the E4 & D4 series with Ti liners instead of SS.

I'm in the same boat as Padawan, I've never wanted a Police, much less an H-1 Police with SS handles. Now make a waved H-1 Endura, and I'll have at least two.

I've been carrying the same Police Model every day at work since about 1989- It doesn't have a spec of rust on it.

On the other hand, H1 with G-10 is something I would probably buy. Just MHO.

Make mine a Salt version of the Dragonfly, please. A "Salt 1 Jr." of sorts would be a great, handy little knife in my opinion.
