Thumbs up 2007 Kiwi has arrived!

Mother of Pearl with Abalone accents. Saw one on eBay. Took me about .2 seconds to make up my mind whether or not to pull the trigger. Picture isn't great, was dark when I got home. Will do better this weekend. I think the abalone accent stripes look very attractive, and they help distinguish this knife from the MOP ones done for A G Russell a couple years ago. Fit and finish on this one is excellent, am proud to add this one to the flock.

Congrats! Your affection for the wharncliffe (notably the kiwi) has sparked my interest as well. Definately going to add one to the collection. How many more until we get another group shot of all the kiwis flocking together?

Thanks. I'll try to do a group shot this weekend too. Has been a while since the last one, and I do have a couple others that arrived since the last "family portrait" was taken.

    Congratulations Paul.
I glad that you got a new toy.
By the way, thanks to you I got Stretch. In real life it looks much better than on the picture.
    Nice and slim knife.
    Thanks again,
    Roman

Thanks Jano, but if I ask her, she'd just put on her innocent look.

Thanks Peter, hestiation was due to me wondering if I should wait for my CC#d one. Then I remembered I just got my Almite CoPilot a couple weeks back, and the un-numbered ones have been on eBay and elsewhere since late November.

As for the number, it depends on how I count them. "Total" at the moment would be 36, but that includes 3 that I have just for those times I want Santa Fe to make one for me and they don't have any blanks. Also have a couple more "in the pipeline".

Yes, I remember you mentioning in your email that you had one in transit. Hope you find it as attractive as I find mine. Can't wait for you to get it, and post some pictures, your photographic skills put mine to shame.

Thanks Jurphaas, I agree that Moki really did an extremely nice job on these.

My absolute favorites to carry are the sambar stag and Marcus Hunt engraved ones. When I'm having a hard time deciding I will usually grab one or the other of those. The maple, ironwood, mammoth ivory, and one of the early jigged bone ones are also favorites. But they all get carried and used, at least once in a while. I carried the new one today, and probably will carry it again tomorrow. Sent some pre-ban elephant ivory off to Santa Fe the other day, think that one will be another favorite when it's finished.

Very nice Paul, Congrats. I've had a chance to handle it at the SFO and was quite impressed with the fit and finish of the new Kiwi. You really have to see it in person to appreciate the real beauty of this one.

Absolutely beautiful. You made me want this one.
    I wish 2007 Kopa's inlay would be like Kiwi's
Your Kiwi family is very very impressive. And 2007 is very nice addition.
