best customer service around

hello all

stupidly i had stripped my modified micarta dodo's pivot pin

i had a great idea about 10 minutes ago to get at it with a hack saw and then use a flat head screwdriver to get it out.........

















it worked!!!!!

anyways i have just phoned up spyderco to order a replacement, they were very friendly on the phone and are sending me out a new one as we speak free of charge!!!!

i can't reccomend spyderco's custy service highly enough and i must say it was a pleasure to deal with them

I second that.

Spyderco truly does have the best customer service/ W&R around. I have had to utilize the W&R department twice, and each time the customer service was excellent. Once was for an issue with my Millie and the second was for an issue with my Lil Temp, and each time they were able to take care of me, and did it in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner.

I don't know who it was that I talked to when I called to ask questions about what to do for my Millie issue, but whoever it was, they were energetic, kind, and extremely helpful. So many times when you call a customer service/ W&R department for help with an issue, you get a monotone voice who treats you as a transaction. This guy from Spyderco customer service was nothing like that. I actually felt good about having to send in my knife after I talked with him.
