the strangest trade ever not a trade thread

we don't trade hear and I didn't trade here but I think this one deserves to be heard I received a stack of USPS boxes some nice knives in the package I wasn't expecting a third package I saved it for last figuring out after return whatever was anyway the address was right but the name was wrong and perhaps I overlooked something on opening the package and finding nothing sharp I knew there must be a mistake I had received two 2 45 caliber magazine clip full-size factory new for which I do not have a gun first thing I checked and I'm sure this be obvious to anybody who understands guns they were not loaded just strange that I contacted the guy just a second ago kind of annoying because I'm not really expecting anything in might be nice knife the out shipping and handling they must of been there with my address for some reason me the gift of some kind more to be the revealed I guess

PS what was in the other boxes you might ask one seki-cut micarta Bob Lum full-sized very nice one gray Calypso Jr. slightly off-center but nice knife in very good user, and one Centfonte 4 wine cliff with surprise grip tape on on the front of the clip which remove very nicely and otherwise very nice knife again

PPS I probably don't want to upset the arms dealers too much even a distance long-range

Let's see... you got a Bob Lum tanto (did they come in Micarta?), a Caly Jr, and a Centofante 4, which would be the one with the wharncliffe blade.

You also received two .45 cal magazines, brand new, and you've asked the guy why those were sent.

    Right/wrong?

basically you are correct, the Bob Lum is made by seki-cut a Japanese company that it is very well made and fits my hand beautifully. 45 caliber magazines might belong to somebody who lives near me and my address was put by some kind of transposition or mistake of a simple nature. and kind of wondering if the gun is coming soon, may be accompanied by police asking about an authorized firearms.

    J. Smith if I end up with the clips after all is said and done I will send them you I have no use for them and will not in the conceivable future.

now I'll go back and try to resurrect my original sentence

I believe that first post of mine would be a complete rewrite, written in haste ViaVoice not very well known sorry

Perhaps you might send the magazines to the real owner. Accidents happen but that doesn't really excuse you from moral, or other obligations. If the guy wants you to keep them for free, then I misunderstood and apologize. If not, what goes around comes around. Nothing good comes from doing things wrong, and life has a way of balancing things out. Kind of a Kharma if you will. My opinion anyhow. Thanks, Joe

Druid uses a voice activated typing system...it is better than his old system but sometimes it still doesn't understand what he is trying to say. No big deal though.

it turned out that the clips belonged to one of my neighbors at least at that address so I dropped them in the back of the mailbox sans note or original packaging, life is good with a sense of mystery I hope

apologies are not necessary sometimes am ashamed somewhat by my criticisms but I am fairly articulate and normal life, and it is easy for me to forget, how poorly this translates into the written word if I'm not careful for me
