I noticed accidentally a funny thing on the clip of my Blackhawk: there is a typographical error in the U.S Patent script.
It is marked: FORIEGN PATS PEND instead of FOREIGN.
If it would be a stamp, that could worth a fortune…![]()

I believe that was one batch of clips and it is on a lot of different knives, actually!

I saw this 'FORIEGN' clip for the first time on my C25GP Frank Centofante and I found out that in my collection the C15GPS Bob Terzuola and C24GS Blackhawk have the same stamp.
Guess there was a time with moremodels with this 'wrong clip'.
But, nice collector items![]()

Yes, since the three hole clip was fairly interchangeable, the "bad batch" got used on a number of different models. Have one or two of them myself, but can't recall which knives they are on.Originally Posted by Peter1960
