    Finally got a Polliwog...

Well, looks like a big Spyderco week...

I have my CC Street Beat and the Knifecenter "Special" Viele II coming tomorrow.

However, I also just pulled the trigger on a Polliwog. The Polliwog is like the Kris to me, the moment I saw it I wanted it. I just never seemed to get around to it.

    Well I have one coming...

So Polliwog owners, give me some idea of what to look for.

Congrats! The Poliwog is a very nice knife that I'm sure you will really like. I've been eyeing one for a long time but have not gotten around to getting one yet. I have handled one at the SFO and it's a blast to flick around. Very easy to close one handed. Enjoy

The Poliwog is a lot of fun to play with. Silky smooth. Feels great in the hand (although the Lava may just be better). Hard to stop opening and closing it over and over ... It is a bit heavy and a bit wide though. Other than that, it's perfect

    All of the above.

And, as fine as the clip is, I removed mine because it lives in my pocket and the clip wasn't being used. With the clip it is one of the most comfortable pocket knives I've got. Without the clip, it simply disappears in my front pocket.

    Great knife!

I have been toying with the idea of jimping the lengthof the spine though...

What to look for? Ergonomic bliss indeed, and a very sheeple friendly package (looks more like a 'gadget' rather than 'weapon'). To me, it's a worthy successor to the Dodo. My Polliwog has been a and office EDC for over a year. Now I'm testing the Lava for that role.

I'm EDCing Lava as well, and so far, I like it more and more every day. I think it is better than the Poliwog, which is an awesome knife (and the lock is perfect), for office carry. Anyway, both are great knives - everyone should own one of each
