    Any other Outdoor Edge fans?

I came across my Outdoor Edge Magna, Impulse, and Wedge when I was looking at my knives a little while ago. Looking the Magna and Impulse over, I couldn't help but think that it was a shame that they were discontinued. As far as the Wedge goes, it's one of my favorite small fixed blades. The only gripe I have is that the sheath doesn't work that well for me, so I may have to get one made out of kydex.

So are there any other Outdoor Edge fans out there?

    Aloha Chris Mapp,

    Good to see you!

Oh man, now we're talking "my knife generation"!

I had given my friend and co-worker in Hell my Wedge. He said it worked good during his hunts but he managed to chip the tip...I remember they used to have a spear point folder that looked pretty good and made out of AUS8...

Ahhhh, the Darrel Ralph Impulse...man he came a LONG way didn't he? The original name for that one was called the Krait IIRC...

Thanks for the walk down memory lane!

    God bless and take care

    Hiya Daywalker,

Ah yes..the Pocket Spear. I actually had a chance to pick up a large model when I visited a local hardware store. Unfortunately, I didn't have the cash so I missed out on it.

I still think the Wedge ranks up there among the best small fixed blades. If they just made it available with a small belt sheath..

    Aloha Chris!

Yeah, that's the one! Pocket Spear, came in two sizes. What was the other one they offered? Pocket Spear had a counterpart...

The Wedge I always liked, and I flipped when I saw the Wedge II. However, the sheath didn't do it for me either.

God bless and see ya bro

    Daywalker,

Dredging through my memory, I'd almost swear the smaller version of the Pocket Spear was called the Pocket Lite. I seem to remember there being a Field Spear as well as a Field Lite too.
