    CLB SubCom officially in Slovakia!

    Hi fellas!

Yesterday I sneaked in our local knife shop and guess what I found out?
(That question means you gotta read the title again! )

They are selling the CLB SubCom folder here!

Its the Boker Plus marked version and I realised that it has a couple of notches/jimpings on the "lock bar", which none of my two Gens has.

Now a question: Does that mean that Chads SubCom has already a 3rd Generation out?!
Because if yes, just one more and he is close to the back of Sals legendary Delica

Not sure if it was the 420J or AUS8 version, but thats an answer we can maybe get from Terry Trahan

The price is 1500,-SKK (46.90 USD) so I think its cool enough according to other CRAZY european prices.

My Congrats Chad! You made it here!

But that means my SCF is not the only one here anymore, but you know...
...who else received it here as a personal gift from designer himself

Nice to hear Jano, and seems the "Boker Plus" version has arrived in Slovakia before it has reached the states! Is it a black handled PE version or one of the more colorful CE flavors?

The Aus-8 version I have of the Subcom, states the steel on the blade, but I don't believe it is a Boker Plus.
Follow the mushin, but pay it no heed.

Deac, its the black scaled PE, but with Boker Plus sign in the middle of the blade and it has those notches on the lock bar.

To me, its a bit strange, because I only saw those two generations in black scales and PE I have (but those are not sold here) and then the group of tan and green scaled CEs, which were at the show (pics from Axlis IIRC).

Anyway, its pretty cool people can buy it here.

I will try to find out about the sales here, how many SCFs do they have in stock and how fast they are selling here, if people like it or not, but later ´bout that.

I think that the 46.90 price tag here for a BOKER signed, AUS8 bladed folder is cool for our people, meaning the price to performance ratio.

I am curious if it catches enough looks, because, for God thanks, we can still EDC any knives, INCLUDING auto´s, here.

I think we got three generation in a short period here:

1st generation: signed Magnum, no steel signs (420J2) and a shorter clip, smooth lockbar.

2nd generation: signed Magnum, AUS8 steel signs, longer clip and smooth lockbar.

3rd generation: signed Boker Plus, AUS8 (?-but I believe yes), longer clip and notches on the lockbar (in the place of the finger choil)

I think Terry could help us to bring a bit of light in here

Yes, for the most part, our government trusts us with guns. But if we get a Auto knife in our hands, we immediately join gangs, wear white tee shirts, eat pizza, and rob old ladies of their milk money.

Whats your todays Tee color? Isnt it blue?

But you should see those POS autos what are mostly sold here. Personally I have never seen a Microtech here. We had a couple of M.O.D. autos in the local shop, but the price tags very HORRIBLE for our incomes.
Mikov autos are sold here too. Mikov is a czech company.

Question Ya gotta be kidding me...

    Ahoj Jano,

Great to see you here, and I hope you have fully recovered...Uh...are you sure your medication is not making you see things? Kidding!

Wow...officially in Slovakia now, huh? Amazing. You are correct in that this would be a 3rd Gen. SF. The steel on those is AUS8, and I *think* them notches on the framelock bar are gonna be standard.

What's more amazing is the fact that you saw one of these black scaled 3rd Gen SF's before I have!!!

God bless and take care Knifebro

Wow! the second gen is barely out...at least on this side of the pond. The second gen. might turn out to be the rarest form!
