I never cease to be amazed at how great the folks at the Spyderco forum can be.
This morning I got up earlier than usual because I had alot on my mind. Yesterday, I went to a staffing agency to line up work and they think they have a position for me. Strangely, this brings two items of concerns to think about. The first is I still am very stiff in the mornings from my surgery two months ago. I am not sure if I can handle the physical strain of my old job. I actually strained myself last week while moving some boxes around at my house. At least at home I could stop what I was doing and recoup. The second reason is money is running out and I need to get back to some type of work.
The major problem is while on leave I can keep my insurance going, which of course I need. If I want to get another job, I need to use my current job of 7+ years as a reference. They will probably need to take me from active status and I do not see how I can afford to pay for COBRA insurance.
What does this all have to do with why Spydie friends are so great you may ask...?
When I logged onto the forum this morning, I had a p.m. from Stonyman wishing me the best and hope that I was recovering well.
Now this alone has not helped completly, but is is strenthening.
Today, I plan on alot of thinking to keep my status active in order to keep my insurance going, while arranging to get more money flowing.
I really appreciate all of the prayers from all at Spyderco.
Thanks,
Michael

. Talk about perfect timing. Now, this position will pay less
, but it will keep my benefits active and money coming in.
