    Another serrations question Endura/Delica 3 and 4

    Greetings you all

By observing the serrations of the old and new Endura/Delica, I noticed that the scallops on the new ones are smaller than on the old models.

I am curious why this is.

Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining here, but because of the larger scallops on the generation 3, the serrations on those models look more aggressive to me.

I hope somebody can help me out on this.

    Many thanks in advance

Any personal tests to see which cut better?

Could it possibly be the angle of the edge, or the angle of the grind?

I also wonder how Spyderco determines the size of the serrations for each knife. The Assist I and II have different sized serrations.
