I would love to have a 'special' Spyderco engraved like this, someday.
Does anyone else have engraved Spydies?

Have two of them, a Delica and a Kiwi, both done by Marcus Hunt. The Cricket in his photos looks suspiciously familiar as well.Originally Posted by Effigy

All stainless Kiwi was engraved to create a "faux-bolsters" effect to blend in with the various bolster and scales ones in my collection.

Am very pleased with both of them, the Kiwi gets carried fairly often and used enough to have needed sharpening.
Then, for a different type of "engraving", here's the Evrina Kopa that Sal had scrimmed for me by Linda Karst-Stone...
Very much a work of art.

They are really beautiful - as you say, they are works of art. I like the effect on the kiwi.
They remind me very much of 19th century craftsman made pieces. Even things that were functional or just mundane was no reason not to look beautiful. I think that is something that todays society has lost![]()

THat is nice work. It's just weird to see spydercos like that. Reminds me of blinged-out glocks.
