Fearsome and sleek creatures are they.
One trembles to think what they do to the hapless trespasser.
I'm all for licensing dogs as these, for they are terrible weapons of ass destruction.

Great foto by the way, it has a sort of vintage postcard look.

Thanks everyone...in a few months you won't recognize the little one...it has hair so it grows and grows (rather than fur), he looks pretty funny right now.

Hey Rock...yeah don't know if it is a family trait or if all bulldogs do it. Her father does it too. Everythime they sleep the tongue slips out. By morning it is dried up like a raisen. The first stop upon waking is the water bowl to rehydrate it.

Yep, all bulldogs do it... Also, if another dog is bread heavily with a bulldog, they will pick that trait up too. I have had a couple pitbulls that did that when they slept.

Hey Daywalker, Abbott and Costello would work, but they really fit an old classic Looney Tunes cartoon from when we were kids. Don't know if you ever saw it but it had a Bulldog and little dog in it. At the start of the cartoon the bulldog walked down the street as if he owned, much like any bulldog would, while the little dog was hoping all around saying," what we going to do today Butch, Huh? huh?" The gag was a tiny kitten and a kangaroo. Whenever the bulldog would go in to get the cat we get wopped by the kangaroo, when the tiny dog would go in it was the kitten. By the end of the skit, the little was walking down the street like he owned it and the bulldog was the wimpy one. Hard to explain unless you saw, but my dogs are in the middle of that skit.

Hey rbarnesfxdl, I find the inevitable snoring really heartwarming (nothing like a contented dog snoring away) until I have to sleep myself...then it is just annoying.

Hi Brian, congrats on the Temperence, hope you don't loose any fingers typing and playing with sharp knives.
