With many thanks to JD Spydo for providing the catalog and to Hannibal Lecter for scanning it. You guys rock!

Click on the pic or go to the link in my signature.

So, anyone got some other catalogs that are not on the site?

And funny enough it takes some time to kick in but actually there's a new kitchen knife in there that's not in my list.

The 1107, and probably later called the K07 Semi-flex boning knife...

Don't know it the Sushi's carry a Spyderco mark - can't find it in the pics but will ask the Spyderco crew in A'Dam...

Also, looks like the kitchen knives didn't have the multi-level serrations yet, just normal serrations...

Thanks for maintaining all this Spydie info. I used your website just yesterday to confirm the SKU # for a model. It's also nice to be able to refer to these old catalogs for NOS purchases, discussions, etc.

Thanks a lot Ted and all the others who helped, this is a great asset in confirming information, and a good way to find new 's to put on the evergrowing wishlist.

Great Job! This going as an insert into "The Spyderco Story" that I received for Christmas.

I also thought that it was interesting that Spyderco was offering Diamond Coarse Sleeves for the Sharpmaker way back in 1990. I thought that it was just a recent offering (that I have coming from NGK).

Is there a site that shows all of the catalogs up to current? (OOPS.... just saw it was a site on Ted's site) RTFB as a Help Desk would say.

    Question Catalog Archives

I do want to sincerely thank Ted, Doctor Lecter and those of you who have helped in this project. Maybe this is not the thread to ask this question but it would seem to me that maybe Spyderco or someone could explore the possibility of "Archiving" the old catalogs. That is I guess if they even still exist. I looked over 2 years to find that 1990 catalog.

Any catalog below 1997 is getting really tough to come by. We really need to support Ted, Deacon, Simona, Massetti, Spyderwa, or anyone else who are maintaining websites that accomodate this information because if we don't it may be gone forever.

Also I was told by 3 pretty reputable sources that Spyderco did not make a dealer catalog before 1997. Well anyway we have work to do.

TIM those older Diamond sleeves were an entirely different product than the ones offered now a days. The current ones have only been in production since about 01-02. The older ones actually fitted over the the ceramic stones. The newer 204D stones are separate stones.
