Successful UK Gunting Seminar
A big thank you to Thomas for teaching the UK Gunting seminar at my club in Nottingham on Saturday. This was the first Gunting seminar in Europe and I am sure that everyone there would agree what an informative, enjoyable and also painful day it was!!
Thomas covered use of the Gunting against sticks, knives and empty hand and my selection of bruises show the amazing ability of this knife whether closed or open.
I would also like to thank Andrea who helped Thomas to teach and was often on the painful end of the Gunting on the occasions Thomas gave me a break!
To Mark, Paddy and Steve, your support and that of your students who attended was also appreciated and I look forward to meeting up with you again at the next one in Glasgow on 2oth October 2001.

I would like to add to my earlier message that Thomas Lehmann is an absolute first class instructor in blunt and edged weapons and especially the Gunting. There has been a lot of positive comments about the Gunting on the forums etc. and I would recommend anyone in Europe, or anywhere else for that matter considering a seminar on the Gunting should get Thomas along for it.

Would like to second Ian’s endorsement. It was another excellent seminar from Thomas and would highly recommend you go and train with him. Thomas is a genuinely humble man that will tell you that he is only the student and not the teacher.
Having had the privilege of training with both Bram and Thomas, the influences are very clear. In his professionalism as an instructor and martial artist. The enthusiasm shown and generosity of spirit.
Top bloke. Can’t wait till next time. Although, some of our number will need the time to recover. Enthusiasm
Thanks Thomas and of course Ian for hosting the seminar

Martin looks as if somebody has danced all over him wearing hobnailed boots and we all know who that was.

My bruises are almost gone now. It must be because I was so relaxed while Thomas was inflicting pain! What do you think Mark <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

more like the beer you use to dull the pain
