I saw that URL in the recent Tactical Knives magazine. Right now it points to the Spyderco Byrd page, but who knows? Another forum too? Oy!

Highly unlikely... Spyderco should make a small section for the Byrd line off their site, with detailed info and products. This forum is plenty big for the Byrd line.

    Thumbs up

I wonder who makes the designs for the Byrds, they are awsome.

    who designs the byrds?

I'm pretty sure Sal is behind the designs of the Byrd line, and probably Eric and the rest of the spydercrew as well. Anyway, it's the same people who design the regular spydies.

To date, every byrd model has been designed by Sal or Eric.

    Thumbs up Thanks Kristi!

I have had the oppertunity to buy & use some of the Byrd line for everyday use & abuse(work) & for the price they are simply unbeatable!
They are very well made & come ready to use ,right out of the box.
As usual from Spyderco ,an excellent product.
    regards,Rick.
