And he didn't forget me, I'm now the proud owner of a Civilian.
It's the G10 version with one liner and it configures for tip-up carry (which I like) and has a Boye dent (which I do not like, but nevermind).
First impression : awesome knife, smooth opening and closing ; if I compare it to the Matriarch it feels sturdier and more solid, but not so much bigger as I expected.
I'll try to snap some pictures later this week.

Yes I agree with you. I can't figure out for the life of me why they didn't do at least a few of the Matriarchs with G-10 scales. Also I love my Civi. It is really an "ACE" in the hole for potentially desperate situations.
