I fear the Jot Singh Kahlsa ... kind of draws me in but it is one strange looking knife.

I can't wait. Linerless is what I've been wishing for since the IV's came out.

I'm wondering where the bits of steel will be added to the Delica.

Not trying to be a wet blanket, but that reference to a "Lt Wt Delica 5" was made in a thread about the relative virtues of FRN and FRCP where, up to that point, Sal had been talking about the planned FRCP Lt Wt Native 5. While there haven't been any further posts from him in that thread, given that Mr Blonde does not recall seeing a Delica 5 concept model at the A'dam show, "Delica 5" may just have been a mistake.

I just took a look at my notes to see if I had missed something and I can confrim what Mr Blonde says. There was no D5 concept in FRCP Lt wt but there was a FRCP Lt Wt N5 just like Deacon says, the D5 is a mistake and should have been an N5. But this was still a concept model and needed still a lot of work to become a production model.

That's what I was afraid of. Though I am looking forward to the new Native as well. I'm hoping for a wire clip and flat grind but I guess we'll see.

I recall asking Phil about it and he said that it is designed after his Bird and Trout custom. A bit smaller blade all around with up to a 4 inch blade. It is a ways off though as what was at SHOT this year was a very early concept model. I've been salivating over this idea and would love for this to come into fruition! I'd be first in line for one.
Upcoming: N5 CF/S110v, N5 LWT, DragonFly SB, Marcin Slysz Bowie, Farid Mehr K2, Peter Carey Rubicon, Gayle Bradley Fixed Blade, Phil Wilson Sprig, Mule Team 4V

(Some) Wishes: Native5 CHIEF, Sub 4 inch versions of the Mehr K2 and Carey Rubicon, More M4 and Use CPM-154!
