I guess it's a matter of terminology - the blade blade Native was a Sprint Run - meaning there was a limited number made. It's not really discontinued since it was never a standard production model. Regardless, check out New Graham Knives - they have some (or at least did very recently.

    Hope this helps!

Quick correction, the Black Bladed Native is NOT a sprint run. It is a standard production model and it will be listed in our 2006 catalog.

Sorry for the mis-information I posted above. New Graham Knives had it listed in their "Limited Run" category and identified it as a "Sprint Run" Unfortunately, I repeated this info.

Guess this falls under the general heading of "don't believe everything you hear". Why does the cynic in me think "he" had plenty of Native IIIs to sell you?

I started to collect natives a couple of weeks ago. This heading that they were to be discontinued was a little discouraging. I also just joined this forum. Then the owner, Sal, logs on and say nope! , sets us straight right away. I'm blown away that this wonderful company has an owner and staff that actually cares about us! How amazing in todays world! You old timers here might be used to it but I'm not. I feel very grateful to have found this group. Thank you Sal, and to all who post!

The Native is too good to be discontinued Updated, yes. Improved, yes. Discontinued, NO.
