    wish list???

personnaly i think spyderco should support the "wish list" possibility besides the "add to cart" on the online catalog

"add to wish list" is something i a feature i would enjoy

i know lucas shop online uses the feature and i would recommend it to spyderco as well

i could mail family what to buy for me for christmas....and so on...

    what do you think?

What is the difference between the catalog + supplements and the wish list?

If I understand the concept correctly, a wish list is sort of like a bridal registry for "everyone". You register, check off the items you would really like to own, and family/friends can visit the site, enter your name, and view the items you actually would like to own.

Assuming that's roughly correct, it does sound like a great idea.

I'd say a "wish-not list" would be better and shorter...As there is only 1 or 2 in the entire catalog I don't REALLY want,....

    Talking Excellent Idea...

    Good day, all.

This sounds like a great idea in theory, but it might be harder to put into practical application on the Spyderco site. What about the possibility of someone like New Graham doing this? I personally love the idea and think it could result in a LOT of happy heads.

My Lady and I exchange lists a couple of months prior to the holidays. The lists have "safe" items; items we can purchase for one another that we know will be wanted and well-received. Neither are forced to shop from the list; it is merely a suggestion or guideline if you like to make the holiday season less stressful for us both. If I am having difficulty in selecting a gift for her, I can consult the list to get some ideas and suggestions and take it from there.

    i wish

the wish list should be simular to the "add to cart" list but it is permanent so every time you select an item to the wish list it stays there untill purchased or removed (no matter how many times you log off). So every time you log on to the forum or the website you can view this "wish list". This wish list should be a feature you can select like the current "buddy list". You can also email your "wish list" to people to give them hints what to buy you for the holidays. Furthermore spyderco can use this information to see what are popular items so it is a cheap market survey program as well. If many people have a certain model on the wish list but not many actually buy these models it must be the high price. It is also an indicator for spyderco to drop the price on the model. Also spyderco could send email if a product on somebody's wish list goes to a cheaper price range or is "in promotion" or even nearly "sold out"

    What do you think?
