Anything (even jokes) that promotes abuse and mistreatment of animals makes me very angry.

I don't like this at all.

Why people think it's OK to just mess with and/or hurt animals is beyond me. Those people need a swift beating.

of couse beating people is ok, people are not as defenseless as animals

i also think is very funny, even though i have a soft spot for rodents (i raise pet chinchillas).
mr. Lowry, there will always be some sort of luntic taking a joke seriously or using a tool for something other than it's intended for (yes, i'm implying knives

). that's no reason to stop telling jokes & to stop using tools.
but that's just my opinion....
