The glove box does however need a change. I am thinking Assist or Rescue. I EDGB a Assist I hope I never have to use but I am glad is there just in case. I have a life hammer too but I think I would prefer the Assist to eh well eh assist I guess.
Putting a waved Endura in a glove box is a bit cruel IMO.
Hallo sir! Mahalo for reading...Hmmmmm, an Assist would be good to have in the glove. I have been eyeing up a lifehammer I saw in Gall's catalog, along with this small carbide glass breaker/seat belt cutter that attaches to your keyring. Yes, God forbid that anyone should have to use such items, but who knows...it may not be yourself that you'll be using them on, as you could very well save another. Now ya got me thinking Mr. Breuker...and it's too early for that!

    "MaHALLO" spydutch!

Thanks for reading and as I mentioned earlier, already got out my Pacific! It's a PE, but I do prefer something with SE or at least CE in the glovebox. Perhaps a yellow SE Salt or Pacific? I had a talk awhile back with The Deacon on this and the Salt or Pacific seemed a great choice, but I think now Paul is hooked on them Atlantics?

Good going Chad! Very nice gesture. And, yes, my favorite Salt is the Atlantic, keep swearing I'm going to pick up another yellow one in SE for the car, but there's still a PE Salt I riding in my glovebox.

Thanks for reading clovisc. Yup...FRN slides well on asphalt as well as cement. When I was a manager for a health food store, and we'd be unloading pallets, it was not uncommon to hear someone yell from afar, "Chad lemme borrow your knife!" My reply, "Incoming! Or "Heads up" and I'd just slide the knife to 'em! FRN 's got some scuff marks, but they survived beautifully!

    God bless

    Cool story.
Will that G***** folder now be produced in FRN, I wonder?

    Good Job Daywalker,

    Good story.
Every new convert strengthens the cause to better edge-u-cate the the sheeple and the unenlightened to the greatness that is Spyderco.

I'll be sure to try some of your methods when haveing to deal with people who consider "those knives".

Mahalo for reading 333! Yeah, it was fun! Too bad I cannot capture the way he said, "those knives." Dude was asking for it really...At least it had a happy ending.

Thumbs up Reinforcement of the facts

Chad is just the kind of guy to pull that one off and do it with class. It just goes to show that you can just let the quality of a Spyderco knife simply "sell itself". Just getting people past their misconceptions is sometimes the biggest hurdle of them all. It still amazes me how many people I show my Spyders to who have yet to even be aware of them. I have said many times a Spyderco knife is a tool you have to handle and use yourself to fully realize what kind of amazing quality they possess. You don't have to sell Spyderco knives>>> They simply sell themselves. But what a great way to win a friend Chad. That is highly commendable. You Sir are a super representative for our cause.

    Mahalo chad,

great story, and some good schooling on your part! I have found that lending out a Delica after some instruction with a drone, goes a long way into edgucating people.

I'd think an Assist would be a good Spydie for your glove box, then again I think a waved Endura would be so much more fun for you!

Good story Chad, thanks. You didn't just put your friend down, you lifted him up again and then some. I like that a lot.

Ahhh JD my friend...you highly over rate me! Like you said, Spyderco knives simply sell themselves!

    MaHALLO Wouter!

Thanks for reading KnifeBro...yeah, a "drone" would be good to carry about as the "closing with one hand" feature tends to freak people out at first!

An Assist would be good, I think I'd get the one with the tip...For now though, it's my C10BK SE! (Gotta have something in there for them senior moments!)

BTW young man, ya owe me an email...
