Picked up some more cord at REI last night. This stuff is a light Orange w/ blue hatching. And i got some whipping that is navy blue w/ Orange hatching. They go togather quite nicely, im going to see what i can cook up.
Going to try and hit EMS tomorrow and see what they have.

thanks a lot ghostrider !
Man, this thread is great! Speaking of cool beads and lanyards, would anyone else be into a Spyder bug in bead-form for lanyards or whatever? Sort of the same size as the Palladium Silver Spyder on the Cento, or even the Menuki on the Kumo... I think they'd sell pretty well, agreed?
I plan to raid the local stores for whatever cord I can find and get started on tying some more... It'd be nice to have a few Spyder beads to complement them!O=/=====

Thank you ghostrider, for putting those URLs together in one place. I just bookmarked them, very good info.
This is a GREAT thread, I really enjoy looking at and emulating some of what you all have been creating.

Yeah- they'd be very cool beads, keychain fobs, or whatever. I imagine them to be twirling like some of the avatars on the Forum, you know? Especially a shiny silver, black, or anodized aluminum- how cool would they be??![]()
I'd be curious to know how Mr. Smith's project goes- keep us in the loop!

Where did you find the directions for the button knot that are on the left of the picture. They look more detailed than the ones I've been using. I just can't seem to get the hang of it.
Thanks,
Traderdell
ahaha nice one ghostrider...do you play baseball with that?!?![]()

It isn’t mine. Someone asked me to put a lanyard on it for them. Very nice piece though.Originally Posted by naggalowmo
Sorry about the bad pics on this post. They are all the same blaze orange cord. Bad lighting made some of them look orange without the "blaze". Hope you get the idea anyway.
