I tried one like ghostrider's. I used 9 feet of paracord, coyote tan and desert camo. The loop is about 3 inches and I made the body 2.5 inches before doing the twists back over the round sinnet.

those are so neat. still been playing with them. do you use only two strands of cord? one green and one black overlapping and start doing the cobra stitch at right angles?

Discovered the site whilst searching Google for lanyard ideas, this thread is just amazing. The level of work is superb and has given me a good few ideas to try, but finding good paracord in the UK is not easy, think an order to the US will be in order.
My first attempts, but more to follow for certain.

Can anyone tell me, when doing a diamond braid or spiral braid neck lanyard in 550 Paracord do you remove the inner strands or not. I am guessing that you do but wanted to ask before I start.
I haven't, but it doesn't mean that you can't. I guess it all depends on how you want it to look (and lay) when finished.Originally Posted by Paul Holtom

Well........I was thinking...maybe it's time I tried my hand at some knot making, ....Inspired by all these wonderful pictures of magnificent fobs and lanyards, tied by extremely talented fingers....so I threw out my Velcro Sneakers and bought some new Adidas with actual Lanyard running thru the holes...now does anyone know of a source that tells you how to take out knots
I got the multiple knot part down pat...but I can't sleep with these things on!!!!!! HELP!!!!!
