    Stormdrane,
The instructions I read for the Cobra Stitch said to start with two working ends, tying them around an inner number (one to however many desired) if working ends. Are you tying this “non-alternating” Cobra Stitch around an “inner working end”?

    Hope I made that clear.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

It's easier to do if you follow the instructions for a paracord bracelet and instead of alternating the under/over with the left and right working ends, just keep doing the left side working end under the standing lines and the right under/over and thru the left. Do a few, push it up to tighten and continue. I hope this helps. Here's the link for the 'how to' on the bracelet:

Thanks to you. I'd done the Cobra Stitch before, but never thought of twisting it. Since this was only 1.5mm cord, I decided to add a second one for more mass. Still not sure how it looks myself.

Ghostrider ...Nice Work! I really like the twist, the cord color is a perfect match for that black feathered handle and I love the look of the added second

    Thanks Doc,

Glad its getting positive reviews, I wasn't real sure if I liked the way the double looked or not. However, the cord is so thin, I needed to do something to add a little more "mass" to the look. I was also hoping the "V" shape of the fob would coencide with the feathered handle.

Funny about that cord is that while it's secondary color is yellow, sometimes I'm sure the light makes it look green.

    Thanks Doc, and Brian.

I'm using a 35mm SLR, so sometimes, I don't know how they are going to turn out. IMHO, I've been getting better pics since I devised a "make shift" lightbox, and some artificial lighting.

Those twists are fun. Glad Stormdrane turned me onto that method. I'd done a Cobra Stitch for whipping once before, but I like the twist.

Haha, indeed. Thats what is so neat about this cord, is that it changes color depending on the lighting. Very cool stuff, thanks for sharing it w/ me.

I jusy ordered some Tan,OD and maroon cord from county com.
The walmarts around here have not gotten any of the sportsmans cord in for a while now.Has anyone elses walmarts been low on it too.I noticed that 3 local walmarts were VERY low on some items.I got to wondering if maybe China or the US have stopped some imports due to the bird flu out break over there.
I am also looking for the white skull beads, does anyone have a good source for them.
