Yeah, its amazing how a fob can make a small knife feel much bigger in the hand by adding control, and making the opening easier. The Meakowlark in one of my pics belongs to a young man who will occasionally ask me to sharpen it for him. I put that fob on it on one such occasion without telling him anything about it or its purpose. About a week later he was hooked. He said it makes it easier to find it on his pocket. but it was too cool looking to pass on) but I did a really nice little knot job on my Ladybug...( funny thing was I didn't know how handy the lanyard on it would be and now that I have one on the ladybug which I always use daily it's an incredible feel...when I open the bug it feels in the hand like I'm holding a full size Delica, plus I can find it in the pocket so much quicker) I'm hooked.... everything is going to get a knot...well at least the small knives for now...next project... I want to try a really hard one for my Dragonfly...and if It looks good...I might join the Navy....

Just remember to keep the shorter length flat as you hold it so it doesn't get twisted. Once you've got it tightened up, you can make your knots straight across for a square lanyard, or across at an angle for the round. Hope this helps.
