    lanyard combos

just wondering if anyone has any certain combinations of knots they prefer using when tying lanyards. The way i see it the combinations are endless and its always good to know what things work better than others, any feedback would be appreciated.
    Thanks,

My favorite of the moment is the 'diamond' or 'knife-lanyard' knot. Works very well for me. Good thing about it is that it makes a loop by itself, instead of a the more difficult monkey-fist knot. The big one on the Fallkniven F1 is a double-diamond. That took me a while to get right.
I'll dig up the thread on BB with the instructions!

Square sinnet and the monkey fist are my favourites. boondoggleman.com is a great site for some knot ideas. Take Care!!!

Thanks guys that really helps, ghostrider just showed me how to tie the monkey fist today. Lately ive been using the hangmans noose but couldnt find a proper knot to combine it with. Previously i was using a double overhand sliding loop w/ a clinch (stopper) knot to secure it, followed by a stopper at each end of the remaining cord.
