    Best Website to Buy Knives

I am interested in purchasing some out of production spydies but what I REALLY want is a Chris Reeve Sebenza. What is a good website that carries these items? Where do you order your spydies and why? Thanks.

PS I dont care much for ebay.

http://www.newgraham.com is one of the favorite on-line suppliers here. They also sell Sebenza's.

Hi nartmot, I use Spyderco knives because my hands are mildy arthritic and I find the round hole opener is the only opening method that is consistently successful for me. I collect them because I find them more interesting than any of the other myriad things folks collect, and also because, although all s are excellent, I am still searching for perfection.

As for sources, the two Ted and Ken mention are my favorite "e-tailers". Have also had good fortune with the BladeForums "Exchange" forum, and, unlike you, like eBay and use it quite a bit.

Sorry about the shocked faces, I thought they pitched the thread. I think new Gotham is the consensus choice for the best and safest place to buy spiderco knives. Personally as a matter of loyalty I guess I've only ever bought from the spiderco web site or my local knife shop.

    Lightbulb 2 More

There are 2 obscure websites that I have stumbled across. They are as follows: www.bladez.com & www.theknifestore.com. I have gotten aquainted with the owner of these sites and he is a pretty decent guy. His prices are not bad either. He personally told me that he is a Microtech fan but that he does like certain Spydies. I hope that helps. Oh the one www.theknifestore.com has quite a few Spydies on it.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I ended up buying a few out of production spydies and I opted for the ATR instead of the Sebenza because of the $150 price difference...couldnt convince myself that a few washers and bushings were worth $150...I will try and put up some reviews (knives and e-tailers) after I get them.
