You obviously snapped this when I was out diving. There's usually a BC, tank, catch bag, and fins littering the lawn when I'm home. Nice Photoshop job on the sign and the window. How were the salmon and the Dungeness runs this year??

(BTW: There is a chain of trailer mounted coffee dispensing shacks in California that have drive through windows for a quick shot of Joe and are called "Java the Hut".)

    Java...
The crab boats are going day and night along this stretch right now. They say they are especially large this year. I replaced/embellished our aged wooden deck with a new Trex one this summer and with my extremely limited carpentery skills it took me all summer/fall (and every tool in my neighbors' garages) Cut deeply into my fishing time. Barely caught enuff to eat let alone smoke any.

By the way, know any use for a barrel of bent nails?

Why yes, I have several cases for all my Spydies in my hut! Why do yo....... oh-h-h-h-h Nut cases... No we just keep them in tins or zip-lok bags.... wait a minute.... I think I represent that comment!! You makin' fun of us Jaxon????

    Chinook,
You're making my mouth water!! Can't believe the salmon was so sparse you didn't have a smoker left. My sister complains about not making it to Bandon anymore since they moved to Bend. As far as the barrel of bent nails, maybe 4-year old Margie over at BFC can help. Flush her mouth out before you send her home though.

I resemble that remark...if you shake my barrel a blue haze of asterisks, ampersands and trebleclefs still drifts up from it. I caught my thumb whilst driving a stake to guywire 'waving santa' last week and about an hour later John down at Gold Beach Lumber called asking if I was going to pick up some more nails? Wiseguy! Sound really carrries down the creekbed, I guess.
