Aloha ALL!
Well...No "big brown trucks" coming to my door, BUT, I did however get a small brown package today in the mail! Now, I don't know if theFriend who sent me this wants to be known or not, so i will just refer to him as "Swampwalker"

Anyway, thanks to "Swampwalker", I can now cross out theS.P.O.T. on my "wish list"! This thing comes in a pretty big box for a knife this small! Ahhhhh, a SPOT finally..! And a Black one no less!!! After studying the coat however, I do not see this black finish lasting too long. It looks like the paint they use on the black clips...it will keep the rust at bay though, as anything usually bead blasted corrodes quite fast here in the Islands!
I liked the sheath for this FB, and also the way the SPOT felt in hand...only, the handle could be a bit thicker. So I figured I would try to do my "JapWrap" (Please, anyone of japanese ancestry, do not be offended, as I am 1/2 japanese myself!). This is much like the wrap done on Samurai sword handles. Growing up during the "Sho Kosugi era", I learned how to do this after the chord from one of my cheap samurai swords unravelled. BTW, whatever happened to Sho Kosugi anyway?Anyway...
I thought of CKE when I got this, as i recall how proud he was when he wrapped his SPOT's handle...Well, Craig, IF you're reading, my wrap is not as good as yours, but hey, I tried!![]()
Can't wait to test this SPOT out!!! "Swampwalker"...you have my mahalo'z and thank you for the early Christmas! (I REALLY mean it as I will be "ordered back" no doubt on Xmas Eve AND Xmas Day! Senior staff NEVER come to work on these days...ugh!)
God bless!
OBTW, Images attached made possible by Ted!!! God bless you man!!!![]()
Ick...sorry for the shabby images...will try to take better ones once I learn how to use this darn camera!![]()

Great old times when they relied more on their skills and less on special effects, not like they do now (think Jet Li). I still preffer Jackie Chan more - it has great coreography and a lot of fun.
