The Stretch is an intersting design study.
We spent many months refining and "perfecting" the pattern. As an all around EDC cutting tool, it seemed to me to have all of the necessary ingredients for the "afi" that wanted to carry a 4" knife. but found modern society didn't like such "big knives". 3" was a tad small so 3.5" seemed like a good compromise.
Efficient blade shape capable of performing a multitude of cutting tasks effectively, comfortable ergos for most hand sizes, Good steel, wide full flat grind, finger choil for close cutting, thin enough to carry and not know it's there, 4 way dedicated clip.
Assuming the design is sound
then SS and Kraton are not desired?
Because the design failed in the marketplace.
The next version (same pattern) is ZDP-189, peel ply carbon fiber scales, full SS liners, mid lock-back, a little thicker, a little lighter.
We haven't yet decided if it will be a sprint, test or ? We know that we're going to make at least one run.
