Sadly yes, Caly 3.5 SBlue
Do you go swimming in salt water with it?
Understand that it is hard to let go of some, but I am a firm believer like you of using these tools. Besides a high bevel, I do not see anything super visually wrong with your sharpening job. You...
Endura 4 frn
Too late now, but voted for leaving it alone.
agreed no bolsters and no H1; also not sure about vg10 in a sprint as you can get this knife in production with VG10. a sprint should be very special, imo. not hating on Vg-10 either.
Caly 3.5 is great where it's at. Can you really improve upon perfection?
Interested as well!
Great knife, great steel. The caly 3 and 3.5 SB are my favorite knives. Perfect ergos, pocket clip/ride, and blazing sharp easy to sharpen steel. I edc these knives more than any others.
Be not afraid.
It's like a dent In a new car. It won't be the last. Quit babying that techno.
Not concerned of deploying in my pocket but concerned with losing it. I once lost it in a fold of slacks pocket. It is so light I had a hell of a time finding it. Do not carry this knife enough.
Functionality, Cutting, Functionality. Misleading title where are the babes? Spydercoland? This thread has failed to deliver.
Must be my technique and not the steel. Just sharpened on the sharpmaker with a medium grit stone. I like this steel with a medium toothy edge. Guess maybe it's just personal preference.
What type of edge does VG10 like to take? I find a finer grit edge is not the best with this steel and is not one of my favorite steels to sharpen. Naturally Ayogami SB will be easier to sharpen. ...
Nice pack. I have carried maxpedition packs and looking for a newer pack. This looks really nice. Thanks for sharing
Would have to agree with majority regarding neglect. I have used 1095, vg10 and s30v to clean game and have yet to see any issues. I do wash my blades after though.
Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful knife. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y49/xaeniac/spyderco1Medium_zps8546b9bc.jpg
Here is the endura 4 that started the buying frenzy; and the mule...
I like the grey g10 and as evild stated it is easy to remove if it gets dirty.
Are you all looking at this stainless covering over SB as a positive on the Endura/Delica? I personally like the look of the SB patina.
Eric Glesser to my knowledge designed or approved the knife. Someone that has way more knowledge can prob chime in.
It doesn't look like you took too much off.... Looks to be a good job to me.
Kw should stay away from sprints. It was handled horribly.
