I found the same problem when trying to drill a hole in a finished hardened blade, the only bit that did the job was a carbide one.
That's very nice of you, thank you.
I've just looked at the label underneath, it's a Satellite U200 - 115, if that's of any help.
I think the first knife that I bought, that had a wire clip was a G10 UKPK, I really didn't like it, so wished that it had a solid clip, I really like the one that's on my Manix for example. Anyhow,...
WOW,......this is the one that most of us in the UK want, I predict that this will be even more popular than the UKPK that was designed for those countries where you can't EDC a locking knife.
Hi there, it is a Toshiba Satellite A100 I think, around 7 years old, I thought it were really hi tec at the time, what with it having a finger print reader. LOL
I don't know enough about PC stuff...
If it is, it's not by me/user error,.....going by results on Google there certainly seems to be a problem, something is a miss with the software it would seem.
I've recently done this with a laptop, well I can either boot it up in XP or Ubuntu, both work OK but if I shut down the laptop whilst using Ubuntu, the battery goes to 3% after a few days.
I totally agree, the Swisstool is the best MT that's out there.
A sub 3" non locking Manix would be great for us guys who have a crazy law around a locking blade, it would be my perfect EDC due to choil, handle grip and all that jimping.:) I'd also like to see a...
Got to get her a slip joint then? Maybe one with a finger choil to provide a bit of safety for in hand use.
I agree and there's no chance of the blade wanting to snap close on the fingers when folding the blade back into the handle.
The two versions I own do have skeletonized liners.
That's my thoughts too,....in general I prefer my blades to have a FFG.
I own a couple of versions of the Manix, not the XL version though granted,.....I've not found the jimping to cause any problems,.....how long exactly is extended use?
If I needed to use a knife...
My vote is for the Manix 2,.....Para 2 is extremely close behind it.:)
Now I've always thought, why would you guys in the States or any other Country that doesn't have a crazy law stating that you can't EDC a locking knife, want to carry potentially an unsafe non...
It's not really an attitude thing, it is a fact at the end of the day.:)
1. Manix 2, FFG version
2. UKPK Titanium
3. Spyderco PITS - to be released
You maybe better off with a SAK, my wife likes a Classic, she finds the scissors, nail file come in very useful, it's a very small & light package so she will actually carry it in her handbag.:)
I also carry a card explaining UK knife law in my wallet too.:)
Personally I think that it's just too risky to take any sort of assisted opener/speedsafe knife out in public, well here in the UK...
Going strictly by the letter of the law, one should be OK with this knife in the UK, non locking sub 3 inch blade, that it certainly is, however not all Cops know the law, some will just see a scary...
