I was unaware, and I'm learning more about Spyderco from this thread all the time. If that old numbering scheme was superseded by the current scheme, let's use the current where possible. :)

Total = 377 at this time
Couldn’t do this list without Spydiewiki.
The guys have done a great job there.
I still don't know what it is, but there is something on me what makes me elder in your eyes as my parents are. I was born in 1960 :DQuote:

It must be something Freudian, :( I have no idea why I keep doing that?
:) But while we are on the subject of Dr Freud; I would like to see Spyderco come out a knife in his honour.
Call it a Freudian Slip Joint.
The blade would open quickly, but it would not always come out in the way it was intended.
Me and Dr. Sigmund Freud were Austrians and I am quite sure you never want to use a typical Austrian knife (Warning!) - Trattenbacher Feitel ... it has no SKO :D
They look good to me. I don't lock open my Opinels unless they fall shut under gravity.

K08 Santoku (don't know the original SKU for the purple handled model)
Thx Ted for this wicked knife! I had never seen this one before, cool looking kitchen knife!
Can we get a judges ruling on the K08 in purple. Is it a different SKU?
With a quick look at Spydiewiki and my friend Google, all I can find is; "K08- Pro Culinaire Santoku Lavender"
Looks like there were only 2, the black handle and the lavender.
But if anyone has more information on it; :) I will take all the help I can get.
edit: But when the black handle K08 comes up, it will be good to go. The description will define the difference.
