A concept model of the PITS collaboration was shown at the last Amsterdam Meet. I loved it, it would be a really new direction for the slipit line.
I believe we changed a few things from the concept model in the A'Dam meet. I'm expecting a sample in the next few weeks. Do you have the pic you took at the meet? We can compare with the latest model.
The Pygmy is scheduled to begin shipping this year!Quote:
We're reprinting the book to include Bob's Pygmy Warrior, which is scheduled to begin shipping this year and the Warrior booklet will be included with the Pygmy as well.
From over on British Blades. :D

Sal dropped a couple tidbits over on USN.
I had heard of the fluted CF Para2, but don't recall hearing about the Native getting the same treatment:
For those that have been waiting for yet another Para2 variation, here's yet another:Quote:
We have plans for the fluted CF in both the Para2 and the Native5. Both nice pieces. Need to catch up on some of the other models first.
And is there any plans to make Titanium Para2? Thanks!
We have a proto with an integral Titan Compression lock.
I'm sorry but what is an integral Titan compression lock??
I imagine integral titanium compression lock, similar to the ATR.
AFAIR it looked very similar to the lock of the Salsa, don't have a A.T.R. to compare:
Yes please, titanium Pingo and Squeak!
I love my Squeak and would snap up a titanium version.
I like locks, my wallet is safe. This time around :o
It looks like Sal's collaboration with Mike Read on the PITS folder is proceeding ahead. They are close to manufacturing - although it won't be around for the holidays this year. For those of you who haven't been following this on British Blades, this is a innovative non-locking folder with a really cool back spring that holds the knife open.
British Blades Thread is Here.
Ukpk meets tenacious meets atr? Wow. Sign me up.
I like the overall design. That fits in with the recent talk about "blades that are all edge", and has a handle design that I like that allows you to still have your index finger pretty close to the cutting edge, but without a choil. Very nice.
