Love the Grey G-10 on the Caly Super Blue and looking forward to this one. Just noticed the jimping towards the tip of the blade.

I read the description two or three times and I couldn't figure out if it was Peel-Ply or smooth G-10.
I know there was a poll a while back to help decide.
dapagco, you have any idea?
Thanks.

Thanks.Illustration on the web page looks like peel ply to me, and I think Sal said it was going to be peel-ply a while back.
Does anybody know how many of them were made?

Welcome to the forum. I think the Jester is a great little knife. It's the best one I've ever owned that size anyway.

I know this sounds silly, but I have my Jester Sprint and Yojimbo II sitting here and I hold them both the same way. With my thumb on the spine of the knife. Of course if I was in a knife fight I'd pick the Jester over the Yo 2 :D

I'd pick the Jester too. Less weight to carry as I'm running my a** off. :D

I have 2 so that's 4. From what I've read on this forum I've known of 10 at the most including ours. I don't think many were made available by Spyderco for some reason. Several people have mentioned they want one so I doubt if they last when the appear. I've never been a big fan of knives that small but I really like the Jester.

I've seen kydex sheaths for the Ladybug for a while now. I'm wondering if the Jester would fit in one. Does anyone have one of those Ladybug sheaths and a Jester? The sheath holds the knife at the pivot end and covers less than half the knife. You can use a lanyard for your neck if you want to.
Here is an example on eBay for a Ladybug and two other knives. I sent the seller a message and he said he didn't have a Jester so he didn't know if a Jester would fit. If anyone has a Ladybug and Jester I guess you can look at both and get a good idea of if they are much different in size.

I'm not sure if I really would use one of these but I might and thought someone else may be interested. I don't think Spyderco sells anything like this for the knife.

The g10 jester is slightly thicker than the frn ladybug. Also the hump over the opening hole goes higher on the ladybug, if that makes any sense.

Thanks. Not much about the shape of Spyderco knives makes sense. :) Well, not much except for how comfortable they are to use. :D I understand what you mean though.

Nice!
One Jester coming my way... I'm a sucker for these little blades. And btw, it might be good to mention on the product page, that it's got LINERS! This thing looks like a little tank because of that!
Or a baby A.T.R... me likey :)

I handed my Jester to my son and he immediately commented on the weight. I offered to sell him my second Jester but he didn't like the price. I thouht $125 sounded fair. :o:D Actually, he's in love with his ladybug. :D
I think the G-10 Manbug will have liners also.
