View Full Version : Perhaps not fake, but...

I've just found it on a Hungarian auction site:
The blade may be original, but the whole thing is just awfully re-designed, not worth to the :spyder: IMO .

Most likely not a fake. Looks to be a customized Pro Grip. Blade appears to have been reshaped and the Kraton inlay covered over or replaced by stag overlay.

Anyway, it reminds me to those cheap knifes in the chinese market. :(
Did you notice the mirror polish on the blade?

Guess you're not a fan of mirror polished blades. I'm not either, but I don't equate them with cheap Chinese knves, just with what was popular 15 to 20 years ago. Take this Jess Horn collaboration model done for Beretta by Moki (http://www.paulberetta.com/jess_horn_gallery/images/025_beretta_horn.jpg), the same folks responsible for the Spyderco C27 Jess Horn. High mirror polish on the blade, far from cheap looking to me.

Thats surely a pimped Pro Venator/Pro Grip. I do not like it, though. :)
