Greetings from Alaska!

hope all my spydiefriends have been doing well! i thought i'd drop everyone a line, since i've been lurking a lot more than posting.

i've been pretty busy... running too many projects at my work (grant writer/administrator for municipal government)... got married a few months back... bought a home in November (lots of work associated with that)... tore a muscle in my leg and recently recovered, thanks in large part to getting back into kung fu...

here are a couple articles on some projects i've done in the last year, in case anyone is interested!

a totem pole restoration project from a couple months ago... http://www.sitnews.us/1210news/120910/120910_restoration.html

and another one -- new equipment at a once empty community center in an alaska native community:

and one more -- a coastal clean-up:

Good to hear from ya mate. I thought you must have frozen into a solid block or your typing fingers were frost bit, or something.
Great projects there Chokwe daddy, but if you remain too busy those fish are gonna be getting away with murder come spring.
O.

Good to hear youre keeping busy, Clovisc. Oh, and that house? It wont just keep you busy for a while...it's a perpetual project. Finish one thing, something else needs fixing. The good news is, its good to have knives handy while doing handyman work!!

I picked up a Chokwe a month or two ago and it made me wonder where you had been off to. Glad to have you back with us!

Jason, glad to hear that things are going okay for you. I've noticed your absence from the forums recently, and was wondering if everything was going okay.

Keep up all the good work you are doing in Southeast!
