i went to spydieguys to see (kc gets them 48hrs after jess. like clock work) if he had them yet. i saw he got banned and blamed everyone else. i watched a video and he blamed his poor service and customer support as the reason why we left neg feedback. people leave neg feedback cause he is a crook.
anyway i looked around and dont see anyone that has it for sale. i left a message at kc for ally but it was too late in the day- no response back. it was late but im guessing monday or tuesday of next week kc will ship. i cant wait. im drooling.... you know why.... the ti will come next!
the ti ukpk has been a grail for me for like 6 months. i think it will be a huge hit. even though it may be pricey for some

Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't this essentially a slipit version of the Caly 3 ZDP? Not that i'm criticizing or anything, just an observation as they look just about identical from what i can see.

Different steel, different country of origin, perhaps a different treatment on the CF, and legal in some places where the Caly 3 isn't. Probably lighter as well, assuming that it's unlined like the G-10 UKPK was. Like every other knife out there, it's not the perfect solution for everyone, but am sure some will find it desirable for one or more of those reasons.

Thanks Paul, and yea shape and overall looks are what i was referring to. I'm still kind of undecided on the whole slipit issue...i like the sense of security with a lock but then again with a knife of this size i'm usually not doing anything hard enough to really justify the lock, and having grown up with Case XX and Victorinox knives that never had locks, i think i could live with it for most of my EDC needs.

Yes - no liners on mine :) Also has no pins - just screws.

I'd love to see some side by side pics of those two knives if anyone owns both. I imagine it's a bit thinner too correct?

Mine landed.
I'm very pleased.

Wow, gorgeous. Next to that, my FG DP UKPK looks hideous (but I still love it)!
