pooh brown matriarchs just arrived via kc. ordered monday, shipped and was delivered just now. the flat ground just makes it pop! lightweight, SHARP (pe i mean), love the black clip. this is now my fav frn color, even over tan oef native. seriously the blade is so smooth and perfect and just glides and flows evenly when the knife is open.
price for them at kc is like 63 each. nice... considering retail is 100. screw "its been in my pocket since i got it", mine has been in my hand for 70 mins straight. im LOVING the pe so much!
only complaint is on the se one. screw is a "little" stripped. im guessing when being made it was very tightly attached. speaking with peeps from kc it seems that it is 800 total not 800 each. im not sure though. maybe someone can weigh in. well i will post some pics later tonight. i will wait so i can get my original black vg10 matriarch for compare shots!
my advice.....BUY BOTH ASAP! you wont be disappointed!!! <---(*Edited, there's a reason it's not an option here*)

Got mine today - one each, PE & SE! And so of course, while cleaning fingerprints off it, the SE bit me! Did a good job too! That pointy tip is every bit as sharp as it looks! Teeny, tiny little prick at the tip of my finger, but boy did it "drip" a lot!

Picked up my new Matriarchs today .. they"ll keep my old Matriarch EDC company ;)

COCO BROWN is the new BLACK! Given their South African influence this specific Brown is a good choice of colour!

These babies are sold out everywhere except the few remaining on ebay. There were a few "Buy it Now" at less than or at MSRP and they were gone way faster than I thought.

I've been stuck bidding on several SE's and losing. They're going fast! Considering the bidding wars on the SE's I don't know how I got a PE so easily. Lucky I guess. I'm gonna get another so help me!:D

My guess is that all 1200 Matriarchs have come and gone, but it's hard to say for sure. Assuming you're in the USA, a call to KC might be the best way to find out if they're really expecting to get more.

This will be my first attempt at a post on your fine forum. I have been a Spyderco owner since the early 90's and have only recently gotten into collecting.
I recently purchased a plain edged Matriarch from GP Knives about two weeks ago and received it on Tuesday! I just checked back a few minutes ago and I'm still able to add one to my cart. I have no idea of how many they may have available, but it may be worth a try. Good luck! :)
