Been waiting to try this out thanks Taz! Is this made by the same maker as the sage?

I LOVE the blade profile :)
It's like a cross between a clip-point and a wharncliffe.

I've been looking forward to this, too.
Taz, are the liners stonewashed SS? I assume if they were Ti you'd be promoting that aspect of the knife.

Gotta be at 5.3oz for a 4.25" closed knife.

Taz,
Thanks for posting. What a nice design. Quite different than anything else on the market. And very much to my taste. I'm going to get me one!

Just received mine today. Very nice design. Build quality is excellent. Lockup is VERY early on mine.
Two things of note: the pocket clip is listed as tip up, left or right hand in the description but is right hand only on the knife. There is a channel cut into the frame and scales that the clip rides in on the right only.
Two, this is a heavy knife. The back spacer is huge! It is so thick that the lanyard hole runs through it- a big slab of metal. I'm sure it adds two ounces to the weight by itself.

Got mine over the weekend, nice knife, love the heft of it and blade shape.

I've had mine a few days now and love it! Great design and quality build. Highly recommended............
I notice that there have been various comments on a variety of forums about the weight of the PPT. To be honest I view these comments with some puzzlement.
I'm a big guy BUT I challenge anyone to realistically show they get affected by grammes/ounces differences in weight between this knife and another.
Perhaps if I used it continuously for 2 hours or so, an unrealistic scenario, but otherwise.............

The weight is a non issue for me. I am not able to feel the difference between say endura clipped to my pants or the PPT. It's heavy, but i like heavy for some unknown reason. The weight issue weirdly seems to be a big issue for some people. I just ordered a Ti military but from the reviews i read some people were dispappointed because the Ti Millie ways 20 or 30 grams more then the G10 version. If you have a scale and weigh out 20 or 30 grams of say dry dogfood the weight is almost unnoticable in your hand, and disappears in your pants. So why this search for lighter and smaller instead of stronger? I know some people like "gentleman knives" like the Kiwi, but even an delica is too small for my taste. So maybe we should not focus on weight on a SD oriënted blade, but more on strenght of the blade and lock.
