Now available and shipping... http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=457
The Foliage Green Manix2 FFG with CTS-XHP is a limited production run of 1000 pieces. The first batch has started shipping through our normal distribution network. The photo is a production prototype and shows a hollow-ground blade, but these are flat-ground.

Thanks for letting us know Kristi!
I'm super excited for this knife and am glad to know that the run size is 1000. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on one of these!

Does this mean more will be made depending on sales, just like the orange Military?

Also wondering the same thing. Is this no longer a sprint run?

It says limited production run of 1000 pieces...so to me that means there will only be 1000 pieces right? She didnt say this is a limited production run and thats it..the fact that she stated a number makes me think there will still only be 1000.

I think you're right but some are trying to glean whether sales of this sprint run will determine if it goes into regular production. ;)
I don't think Taz or Sal will answer that, however. The whole purpose of a sprint run is to sell them all. If customers knew that it would eventually go into full production, they might hesitate a purchase now and just wait.

Could well be? That's more or less exactly what happened with the sprint D4 in ZDP-189. Only the FRN color changed.
