Thanks, TazKristi. BTW, I like this new sub-forum "New Product Announcements". I think it's a good idea :)

Ok, I'm confused. What's the difference between this Moran DP and the one pictured below, which came out a few months back...

...or was Kristi just testing out a new sub-forum?

I got to play with one of these today.

Very nice knife. The handle looks like it should glow.

It's on the list.

Great Idea on this New section.

I've had my Orange Moran for a while also. Great knife.

Another question, how limited are we talking?

Awesome to have this sub thread.

Question about the Moran FBs. Is the blade full tang?

Are these VG-10 as well as the others? Also do you guys ever anticipate on making any of Spyderco's fixed blades with a gut hook?

JD, if this is only a test from Kristi, the blade steel on the orange Moran run was VG-10.

Taz,
Wasn't sure where to post this for a response. I was wondering if Spyderco has ever looked at Belgian maker Filip De Coene for a collaboration piece. This would be a great follow-up to the Leafstorm that never seems to leave my pocket lately. He makes some truly beautiful framelocks, though his work is very limited in production output. His "Wharncliffe Stowaway" and "Explorer" were definitely my favorites from his extensive, posted gallery.
